Become Involved
Peacework encourages people from all walks of life to join us in alleviating poverty around the world. We are looking for volunteer groups of no less than 6 participants to assist in our international development efforts. You can organize a team of like-minded friends, colleagues, students, faculty, or family to join you in one of our many locations around the world. All projects and travel expenses are self-funded by the participants.
The most immediate way to make an impact is by joining the Peacework 30 Initiative. We need groups of all sizes, backgrounds, and skill levels to help us fulfill our goal of:
30 GARDENS
30 CAMPS
30 WATER SYSTEMS
30 PLAYGROUNDS
Find out more about the 30 Initiative to determine which area best suits your group's skills and interests. Then, complete the Getting Started Form to
begin a dialogue with Peacework.
Peacework also provides opportunities for superior undergraduate or graduate level students seeking an intensive individual placement for a minimum of 4 weeks. These placements are self-funded by the participant and require prior international experience or study. Complete the Getting Started Form to inquire about these opportunities.
For those that are interested in becoming involved, but unable to travel, check out our Donations page for information about direct and indirect support of our programs.
